Indian Idol 3 – Piano Round Results (From 1st June to 9th June)

After ‘stressful Selection Round’ Indian Idol 3 has now entered in second stage ie “Piano Round” with its top talented 28 contestants. This time there is a change in piano round. Contestants have to perform with live band (and not just with piano as in earlier inidan idol show.).

Piano Round is going to be held between 1st June to 9th June. In every episode two participants (either girls or boys) will get eliminated by ‘Bharat Ki Janata’. You can vote to save your favourite contestant in this show.

1. Friday, June 1st 2007 (First Piano Round – Top 14 Girls Perform):-

In this first epidose of Piano Round, 14 Girls have performed while remaining 14 Boys will perform tomorrow.

2. Saturday, June 2nd 2007 (Second Piano Round – 2 Girls Eliminated + Top 14 Boys Perform)

Home Audience gave their verdict and sent two gals home! Rashmi Vijayan from Dubai and Pinky Maidasani from Mumbai were the first two contestants, who were eliminated. Also in this episode remaining 14 Boys performed for Piano Round.

3. Monday, June 4th 2007 (Third Piano Round – 2 Boys Eliminated + Remaining 12 Girls perform)

This is the last episode of Piano Round and in this episode the top 12 is reduced to “Final 10″ constestant of Indian Idol 3. The eliminated contestants are Ankita Mishra from Kanpur and Suhit Gosain from Hariyana. Also, Jolly Das is back on the show. Jolly Das was finalist of Indian Idol 2 but becuase of illnes she couldn’t participate in the final round of Indian Idol 2.

The Piano Round of Indian Idol 3 is going on to be rocking as well as shocking as contestants decrease rapidly. Thursday night (7th June 2007), it was the girls turn to face eliminations and The Eliminated Girls are – Harshida Madhaparia from London, Shifa Ansari from MP and Vartika Shukla from Raipur..

In this episode, the Top 12 Boys faced the elimination and three boys were sent home packing. The eliminated boys are Shantanu Sudame, Anish Jain and Padmanav Bordoloi. Though others elimination was not surprising, but it Shantanu’s elimination somehow shocked everyone.

After the elimination of boys, Indian Idol 3 began the next round of performances: the Top 9 girls.

Udit Narayan chose Vartika Shukla, Vanita and Ankita Mishra as the Bottom Three!
Alisha Chinai gave thumbs down to Vartika, Priyanka Mukherjee and Vanita!Javed Akhtar Saab selected Priyanka, Shifa Ansari and Vartika as the Bottom Three!

However Indian audience gave their virdicts and according to voting the three girls who got eliminated are:
