This is fantastic! So very true..whatever, VT Bhardwaj has commented is actually the reality. In fact all reality shows are a good work of fiction… almost everything is scripted to sensationalise a show and make people to believe in the false drama with a false sense of participation.

hi i m sakshi….I think Sonakshi’s elimination is a big shock for the whole nation..she;s really good…n as the judges said ..its their loss to loose a singer like her..But i m sure she’ll be definitely there in the wild card…Bcoz indian idol widout her is incomplete..wish her best of luck and plz guys vote for her this time in d wild card…plzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yes i also feel same because she is a great singer and most important she is very comfident. At the theatre round when every one was feeling afraid she was confident. So at the elemintion of her i feel very bad.

I think you are right. There is a lot of behind the scene affair.
Like Anthony Giddens has said “today’s reality is mass mediated reality”, meaning reality is what is presented to you by the media, not what is actually there.

Another Thing. I remember that the judges had excellent words of praise for two of the eliminated contestants-Sunakshi and Purnima. they spoke at length about purnima’s attitude, voice etc-however-not a mention was made when the show was telecast. Instead it was as if all the judges disappointment was targeted at Sunakshi. If you watch the rerun-you will notice that Javed akhtar was the only one who did not talk about Sonakshi’s elimination-reason-? he mentioned Sonakshi and Purnima together (saying he was sorry at their eviction)-and therefore since the channel wanted to focus only on Sonakshi-that part was edited out!!!
