The Piano Round of Indian Idol 3 is going on to be rocking as well as shocking as contestants decrease rapidly. Thursday night (7th June 2007), it was the girls turn to face eliminations and The Eliminated Girls are – Harshida Madhaparia from London, Shifa Ansari from MP and Vartika Shukla from Raipur..

Then came the boys’ performances. The remaining 9 boys gave rocking performance and their fate will be in the hands of Indian Public.

In this episode, the Top 12 Boys faced the elimination and three boys were sent home packing. The eliminated boys are Shantanu Sudame, Anish Jain and Padmanav Bordoloi. Though others elimination was not surprising, but it Shantanu’s elimination somehow shocked everyone.

After the elimination of boys, Indian Idol 3 began the next round of performances: the Top 9 girls.

Girls Elimination:

Udit Narayan chose Vartika Shukla, Vanita and Ankita Mishra as the Bottom Three!
Alisha Chinai gave thumbs down to Vartika, Priyanka Mukherjee and Vanita!Javed Akhtar Saab selected Priyanka, Shifa Ansari and Vartika as the Bottom Three!

However Indian audience gave their virdicts and according to voting the three girls who got eliminated are:

Aisha Sayed from Mumbai, Priyanka Mukherjee from Kolkata and Vanita from Dubai!

After performing on Saturday night episode, Top 14 Boys faced elimination on Mondays episode. Bharat Bhushan Uniyal and Roshan Singh, are the two contestant who got eliminated from Indian Idol 3.

This is the third episode of Piano Round and In this episode remaining 12 Girls are going to perform. The Voting for the girls is on up to 8 AM of Tuesday 5th June. In tomorrows episode two girls will get eliminated.

The Top Fourteen Semi Finalist Gals of Indian Idol 3 gave a stellar performance last night and tonight the number reduced to Top Twelve! Home Audience gave their verdict and sent two gals home!

Rashmi Vijayan from Dubai and Pinky Maidasani from Mumbai were the first two contestants, who were eliminated. Also in this episode remaining 14 Boys performed for Piano Round.

After going through a rollercoaster ride of sorts, the Top 28 Indian Idol 3 Contestants were finally ready to face their biggest critiques and their biggest supporters, the Home Audience! Interestingly enough, this year Indian Idol would not be selected just by home audience in India, home audience from United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman too would participate in crowning this year’s Indian Idol!

In this first epidose of Piano Round, 14 Girls have performed while remaining 14 Boys will perform tomorrow. The voting line is open till 8 AM (2nd June)
